We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2021, at the age of 97, Bob Thompson (Elkin, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalla Thompson and Edna Cockerham Thompson; his daughter Janice Thompson Bradshaw; and his siblings, Richard Thompson and Julia Thompson Cheek.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Chambers Thompson; his children, Joe Thompson (SuAnne) of Valdese, NC, Carolyn D. Jones of State Road, NC, Leslie K. Roope of State Road, NC, Sheree Billings (Ted) of Traphill, NC and Randy Jones (Sharon) of Hudson, NC; his grandchildren, Andy Thompson (Connie), Jennifer Fender (Brian), Jevon Bradshaw (Kim Sue), Shannon Church (Jamie Church), Chandra Hoosier and Chris Wyatt (Alissa); his child Fuller (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Quincy, Kenley, Sydney Fuller, Brannon, Brayson, Briley Church, Nathan Fender, Sloan Gunnar and Cutler Wyatt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
