He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Beamer and Annie Hodge Beamer; and his sisters, Betty Atkinson and Jennie Marie Beamer. He is survived by: his brothers, Fred, Grady, Ernest, John and Frank; his wife Laura Gentry Beamer; his daughters, Melinda Cockerham (Keith) of State Road and Sherron Mooney (Scott) of Elkin; his grandchildren, Annie Walters (Kelly Calloway), Ethan Caroll, Morgan Cockerham, Leah Cockerham and Chelsea Cockerham; and his sister Sylvia Forsyth of Lexington, S. C.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
