He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Walls and Celeste McDade Walls; his siblings, Robert Walls, Earl Walls and Nancy Lee Walls Nixon; and his nephew Col. Norman Patrick Walls.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Walls of Ronda; his nephew Neil Walls of Elkin; his sister-in-law Shelba W. Walls of Elkin; his niece Rebecca Walls; his great-nieces, Piper and Perryn Walls; and his cousin Charlie Walls Jr. (Haddie).
