With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Williams of Elkin, North Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin and Helen Gertrude Steppe Hewitt, Sr.; her husband Elmore B. Williams; her daughters, Katherine Williams Gregory and Janice Caroline Williams; her great grandchild Dakota Chase Gregory; and her siblings, Mary Hewitt Torrence and George Franklin Hewitt, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Mike Williams (Debbie) of Elkin and Susan Williams of Elkin; her grandchildren, Steven Scott Gregory (April), Jennifer Brooke Gregory (Joseph), Steven Elmore Williams (Amanda) and Jason Spencer Williams; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Faith, Jake, Caroline and Delaney; her son-in-law Tommy Gregory; her niece Ann Hewitt Williams (Wayne) of Charlotte; her close friends, Dawn Barker, Waddell and Chloe Holcomb; and her pet Zoe.
