With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amy Sloop Nelson of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Everett Alexander; and her sister Cynthia Sloop Hutchens. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Hurt (Andrew), Michael Wood (Taylor) and Taylor Boles (Kque); and her great grandchildren, Asher, Shiloh, Silas, Beckham, Rhyce and Kylan.
