She is survived by: her sons, William Hughes (Jessica) of LaJolla, CA and Tony Hughes of Elk Park, NC; her siblings, Patricia Brooks of Newland, NC, Mary Aldridge (Tom) of Crossnore, NC, Karen Hayes (Johnny) of Elk Park, NC, Tim Franklin (Sherry) of Elk Park, NC and John Franklin (Roxanne) of Banner Elk, NC; her stepgrandson Aiden; and her nephews, Matt and Dakota Hayes.
Those attending the visitation and funeral service are asked to wear a mask.
