He was predeceased by: his parents, Ranzy Laws and Sally Carver Laws; his son Samuel Paul Laws; and his siblings, Chester Laws, Paul Laws, Hoyle Laws, Tom Laws, Sudie Howell and Nell Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Janice McCracken Laws; his son Stephen Laws (Myra) of Elk Park, NC; his daughter-in-law Maxine Laws of Elk Park, NC; his grandson Ethan Laws; his extended family, John, Penny HIcks, Billy, Codie, Gus Berry, Roy, Earlene Crews, Casey Crews, Jamie Crews and Lorrie Pearce; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon McCracken and Erma Laws.
