She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel B. Winters and Hildred Hobson Winters; her husband William McKinney; her brother J. N. Winters; and her son-in-law Charles Turbyfill.
She is survived by: her children, Lala McKinney of Elk Park, NC, Patsy Turbyfill of Cranberry, NC and William McKinney (Bill) of Elk Park, NC; and her grandchildren, Melissa Berkheimer (Eric) of Roan Mountain, TN, Chris Turbyfill of Hickory and Tyler McKinney (Lindsay) of Waynesville, NC.. She is also survived by four nephews.
