She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Miller and Nina Cook Miller; her husband William Mitchell (Will); and her brother Paul Miller of Elk Mills, TN.. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Isaacs (James) of North Wilkesboro, NC, Lois Estep (Marshall) of Elk Park, NC and Tommy Mitchell (Chris) of Clemmons, NC; and her siblings, Mary Gray of Beech Mountain, NC and Mack Miller (Shirley) of Hampton, TN.. She is also survived by five granddaughters, thirteen great grandchildren and twenty six great great grandchildren.
