He is survived by: his children, Lora Taylor (David) of Franklin, NC and Cecil Brown of Elk Park, NC; his siblings, Mable Sue Clark of Jonas Ridge, NC, Helen Marie Brown of Elk Park, NC, Barbara Ann Wilson of Spruce Pine, NC, Brenda Jane Banner (Allen) of Newland, NC, Bobby Joe Brown of Elk Park, NC, Lana Kay Buchanan (Tim) of Minneapolis, NC and Michael Allen Brown (Janice) of Elk Park, NC; his sister-in-law Hazel Brown (Bill Lee) of Elk Park; his grandchildren, Jim Taylor of Franklin, NC and Kayla Brown (Derrick Buchanan) of Linville, NC; and his great grandchildren, Caden Vance, Caleb Vance and Grayson Buchanan.
