It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Mae Jones of Elk Park, North Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Walsh Clawson and Henry Clawson; and her siblings, Pauline Trivett, Eula Kyte, Novella Dugger, Lorena Sheets, Alma Harmon, Trilla Clawson, Dover Clawson, Herbert Clawson and Algie Clawson.
She is survived by: her husband Ford Jones; her daughters, Debbie Jones and Diann Harris (Greg) of Elk Park; her grandchildren, James Erwin of Minneapolis, Callie Sheppard (Jonathan) of Elk Park, Job Harris, Brooke Harris and Quentin Cooper; and also Jim Erwin.
After a fall left her with a broken hip then contracting covid her body was too weak to go on.
