She is survived by: her children, Jerry Houston (Jean) of Elk Park, NC, Diane Hicks of Newland, NC and Vertie Houston of Elk Park, NC; and her grandchildren, James Houston of Elk Park, NC, Jeffery Houston (Sierra) of Frank, NC, Mark Houston (Holly) of Roan Mountain, TN, Darren Houston of Elk Park, NC, Timothy Houston (Jessica) of Elizabethton, TN, Michael Houston (Shannon) of Altamont, Ritchie Houston and Christy Houston Hicks. She is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
