He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Presnell and Grace Harris Presnell; and his sister Della Presnell. He is survived by: his siblings, Pauline Brown of Avery County, Arlie Presnell of Boone, Jim Presnell of Spruce Pine, Ben Presnell of Zionville and R. L. Presnell of Zionville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
