He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gragg and Beatrice Baldwin Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Velma Gragg; his children, Janice Gragg Surgeon and Bobby Ray Gragg (Carrie); his grandchildren, Justin Wayne Surgeon (Misty) of Granite Falls, Tonya Marie South (Brian) and Jason William Surgeon (Wilkesboro); and his great grandchildren, Ethan (Brooklyn), Chris, Alex, Tyler, Holden, Landon, Colton and Raven.
