It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Hamby (Elk Park, North Carolina), who passed away on April 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hamby and Hazel Turbyfill Hamby; and his siblings, Christine Hamby, Ruby Clawson, Shirley Bare, Haroldene Hamby, Frankie Harmon and Kenneth Wayne Hamby.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Denise Resendiz (Jose) of Boone, Joseph Allen Hamby (Jennifer) of Marion and Jessica Ann Resendiz (Juan) of Deep Gap; and his siblings, Barbara Townsend (Leroy) of Foscoe, Ricky Hamby (Wanda) of Banner Elk, Wanda Hicks (Charles) of Foscoe, Dayton Hamby (Pansy) of Elk Park and Keith Hamby of Elk Park. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
