He is survived by: his children, Terrance Rhone of Greensboro, NC, Germaine Pearson of Chesapeake, Thomas Pearson, Jr. of Portsmouth, Margaret Pearson and Sha (Quita Pearson); his close friend Mary Rhone of Elizabethtown, NC; and his siblings, Kenny Pearson (Anita) of Bladenboro, NC, Ronnie Pearson (Faye) of Elizabethtown, NC, Tyrone Pearson of Elizabethtown, NC and Carlene Pearson of Elizabethtown, NC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
