He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Brooks; his children, Thomas Brooks, Jr. of Elizabethtown, NC and Stephanie Hollis of Elizabethtown, NC; and his siblings, Benjamin Brooks (Barbara), Priscilla Russell, Rose Jones and Carolyn Brown.
