He is survived by: his wife Donna Astern; his children, David Seth Astern and Sarah Danielle Cantoya; his siblings, Lee Astern and Sharlene Astern; and his grandchildren, Chloe Cantoya, Alayna Astern, Lucy Cantoya and Thomas Astern.
