He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Anders and Joe Annie Hammond Anders; his wives, Hilda Elkins Anders and Fay Phillips Anders; and his siblings, Doris Faye Dawson (Bill) and Dewey Jessie Anders (Dot).

He is survived by: his children, Wayne Anders, Timmy Anders and Pamela Ruth Anders (Pam); his siblings, David Anders (Darlene), Marshall Ray Anders (Katraine), Sammy Anders and Annie Ruth Davis; and his granddaughter Samantha Joe Anders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
