It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Bryant Bryan (Elizabethtown, North Carolina), who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sadie had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Huston Bryan; her parents, George Washington Bryant and Sadie Beatrice Merritt Bryant; and her brothers, Hubert and Earl Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, George Alan Bryan (Cindy) of Elizabethtown and Sheila Denise Bryan of Elizabethtown; her sister Betty Griffin of Concord; and her granddaughter Karen Beth Gatwood (Aaron) of Little River, SC..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
