She was predeceased by: her parents, Sollie Guyton and Lemmie Guyton; and her siblings, Bobby, Roy Lee, Wilton, Miller, Clyde, Julia, Eunice, Louise and Doris.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Ward (Christina) of Houston, TX, Lynn Ellison (Shawn) of Spring Lake and Dora Lashmit of Lillington; and her sister Betty Lou Thompson of Bladenboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
