He is survived by: his children, Karen Pridgen of New Bern, NC and Edward Pridgen (Quantiara) of New Bern, NC; and his brother Otis Pridgen (Bertha) of Bladenboro, NC. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson's Funeral Service (207 S Pine St, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel.
