She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Martha Atkinson Midyette of Elizabethtown and Patricia Atkinson Acevedo (Ovidio Acevedo); her niece Flor Alava of Ecuador; and her grandchildren, Robert Wesley Atkinson, Christian Alexander Midyette and Adam Gabriel Midyette.
