He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Paula Hobbs Greene; his children, Ann Hamill Greene (Justin DeGarmo) and Lane Greene (Samantha Martin Greene); his grandsons, Tripp Greene and Mack DeGarmo; his brother Hobby Greene (Janie) of Elizabethtown; his daughter Katie Mac; and his parent A. M. Greene (Frances Smith Greene). He was also cherished by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration of contributions to the Katie Greene Scholarship Fund at Trinity United Methodist Church, Duke Cancer Center, or Lower Cape Fear Life Care.
