Lauristeen is survived by: children, Darryl Pridgen of Atlanta and Valadia Pridgen of Wake Forest, NC; goddaughter Mia Allison Garrett of East Orange; and sister Luerever Pridgen of Raleigh, NC. Lauristeen is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
