She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Robert Lewis Strickland and Dorothy Snipes Strickland; her in-laws, Roy J. Allen Sr. and Virginia B. Allen; her brother-in-law Herbert E. Ellis; and her nephew Stephen Pittman.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Allen; her children, Roy J. Allen III (Patti), Robert C. Allen and Kellye Hales (Jason); and her sisters, Vivian Leigh Ellis and Cathy Luanne Malin (Tom). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
