We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2022, at the age of 86, Jane McDonald Hughes of Elizabethtown, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Haywood Franklin McDonald and Lucille McLaurin McDonald; her husband Laurice Miller Hughes; and her sons, Franklin Miller Hughes and Mark Miller Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, John McDonald Hughes (Patricia) of Fayetteville, Matthew Lewis Hughes (Meredith) of Leland and Heather Hughes Tart (Brian) of Elizabethtown; her daughter-in-law Mellissa Pope Hughes of Autryville; her brothers, Kenneth McDonald (Linda) of Fayetteville and Robert McDonald (Wylene) of Wrightsville Beach; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Allison, Hayden, Emily, Macy, Max and Brian; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hunter and Myla Miller.
