It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Kissam of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, born in Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Rogers and Sarah Simmons; her sons, Randall and J. W. Kissam; and her siblings, Diane Rogers and Jerald Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana "Lynn" Jernigan of Cerro Gordo; her grandchildren, Morgan Ellis, Savannah Sasser, Corey Kissam and Carson Kissam; her great grandchildren, Addisyn Diane Ellis, Cora Iris Ellis and Randall Knoxley Ellis; her nephews, Christopher Jerald Rogers and Adolphus Caroll Rogers; and her niece Amber Sarah Rogers.
