He is survived by: his children, Darryl Wynne Roberts, Laura Kay Hill of Kentucky, Donna Nichols of Kentucky, Nancy Sawyer of Maine, Danette Thompson of Washington State, Debbie Mycock of Washington State, Sherry Gunard of Washington State and Kathleen Balfour of Washington State; and his siblings, Wilbert Wayne Thompson of Bladenboro, Julius Ray Thompson of Texas and Jane T. Pait of White Oak. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.
