She is survived by: her children, Wilhelmina Gilliard of Frederick, MD, Gracie Gilliard of Raleigh, NC, Thomas Gilliard (Lizzie) of Elizabethtown, NC, Sherman Gilliard (Peggy) of Lumberton, NC and Stephen Gilliard (Conza) of Raleigh, NC; and her sister Mary Tatum of Harrells, NC.
