He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thomas Hall and Nellie Matthews Hall; his wife Carolyn Hall; and his brothers, Robert Hall and Clarence Hall.

He is survived by: his children, Ricky Hall (Donna) of Kelly, Linda Norris (Steve) of Elizabethtown, Susan Smith (Wayne) of Garland and Janice Hayes (Jerry) of Elizabethtown; his siblings, Hubert Hall (Debbie) of Elizabethtown, Roger Hall (Linda) of Burlington, James Hall (Nora) of Burlington and Doris Shaw; his grandchildren, David Smith (Courtney) of Garland, Jessica Stewart (Tony) of Bladenboro, Johnathan Hall of Kelly, McKay Hall of Kelly, Mindy Shamblin of Elizabethtown, Jordan Hunsinger (Chris) of Elizabethtown and Joshua Hayes of Elizabethtown; his great grandchildren, Connor Smith and Courtlyn Smith; and his stepgreat-grandson Cade Rogers.
