She was predeceased by: her parents, Willam Dexter and Polly Ann Deaver; her husband Charles Taylor; and her siblings, Ethel Deaver, Ernest Deaver, Norris Deaver, Ervin Deaver, Graham Deaver, Leta Bell Cain, Betty Lou Alford and Dorothy Daniel Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Taylor and Lisa Allison (Tony); and her granddaughter Hannah A. Loscalzo (Nick).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elizabethtown Baptist Church (1800 W Broad St, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Wesley's Chapel Church Cemetery (2409 Old Peanut Rd, Elizabethtown, NC 28337).
