He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Alexander Newark and Kathryn Hambleton Newark; and his wife Judith Callam Newark. He is survived by: his children, John Newark (Meg) of Wake Forest and Jeannine Webster (Peter) of Conneaut, OH; and his siblings, Roger Newark of Germany and Mary Szczerba of Oklahoma. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
