We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2020, at the age of 91, Elsie Thompson of Elizabethtown, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John; her husband James Worth Thompson, Sr.; her son James Worth Thompson, Jr.; her siblings, Carl Stevens, Robert Stevens, Catherine Baxley and Irene Croom; her grandsons, Joey Thompson and Philip Transou; and her son-in-law Larry Transou.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Transou of Marion, Louise Britt (Chip) of Oak Island, Faye Aiken (Harold) of Plantation, FL., Carolyn Hill (Henry) of Elizabethtown and Barbara Driggers (Bob) of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Roger Britt, III, Les Hill, III, Ben Hill, Lynne Franzeo, James Worth Thompson, III, Chris Aiken, Keith Aiken, Lauren Driggers, Jake Thompson and Jessica Kirwin; her great grandchildren, Tyler Hill, Aly Hill, Abby Franzeo, Kena Hill, Maddie Franzeo, Ariana Hill and Hannah Thompson; and her siblings, Johnsie Bryant, John Stevens and Tommy Stevens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
