Alma Farris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2019, at the age of 102, Alma Farris (Elizabethtown, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alma Farris to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Parker and Helen Kelly Parker; her husband Shick Farris; and her siblings, Louis F. Parker, Agnes Parker Najam and Magdalen Parker Mileski.
She is survived by: her sister Lillian Parker Gannon; her daughters, Dorothy Farris Findlen of Durham, NC, Anne Farris McConville (Robert H. McConville, Jr.) of Sanford, NC and Kathryn Farris-Stage (John Stage) of Durham, NC; and her grandchildren, Patrick Farris, Kathryn Findlen, Dr. Parker McConville, Lee Anne McConville Contarino, Robert McConville and Elizabeth McConville Shaefer. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, as well as five nephews, two nieces, and several great and great-great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of floral remembrances, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of choice or to: The Alma Parker Farris Scholarship, Bladen Community College Foundation, P. O. Box 384, Dublin, North Carolina.
