He is survived by: his wife Janet Miles White; his children, Taryn T. White of Greenville, Tierra T. White of Elizabeth City and Tyrone T. White, II of Elizabeth City; his grandson Miles T. White Dixon of Greenville; and his siblings, Edith D. Sylvester (Vernon) of Shiloh, Debra A. Daniels of Manteo, Charles A. White of Elizabeth City, Major L. White of Virginia, Jerome A. White of Elizabeth City and Anthony L. White of Elizabeth City. He is also survived by father and grandfather, and dear uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
