He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wesby Tilley and Martha Hofler Tilley; and his siblings, Martha Lee Melby and William L. "Buddy" Tilley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Roberson Tilley; his children, Sharla Dawn Smith (Shayne) of Costa Mesa, CA, Tommy Tilley, Jr. of Hertford, NC and Todd Tilley (Candy) of Hertford, NC; his grandchildren, Bailey DiCaprio, Harley Tilley and Brooke Suermann; and his great grandchildren, Chloe DiCaprio, Brantley Herba, Braylee Linde and Bryler Linde. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Tommy's name to Camp Cale, 377 Camp Cale Road, Hertford, NC 27944 or to Albemarle Hospice, 1507 N. Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
