Sterling Griffin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sterling Griffin (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley "Sunshine" Griffin; his children, Brenda Griffin of New Brunswick, NJ, Jenelle Smith (Tim), Jerald Perry III of Moyock, NC, Davin Perry and Sterling Griffin, Jr. (Tracey); and his siblings, Herbert Moore (Susan), Priscilla Tate (Harry), Debra Moore, Sharon Figgs (Ervin), Vandalyn Ray, Harrell Moore (Ramona) and Reginald Moore (Melanie). He was also cherished by five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers family asks that memorial donations be made to the Eastern Star COGIC Building Fund in honor of Sterling S. Griffin.
