It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Nix Kelso of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Trevis and Nona May Short Nix; her husband Ronald Wayne Kelso; and her daughter JoElla Renee Kelso Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Kelso Thomas (Chris), Michele Kelso and Ronald Wayne Kelso, II (Shannon); her siblings, Michael, Teresa, Gregory, Denise, Brian, Cindy, Bruce and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Ashli, Kati, Brittany, Sandi, Keith, Noah, John, Vanessa, Bailey and Corin; and her great grandchildren, Marie, Cora, Everlee and Jonathan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
