He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Betty Hamden and Richard Korneisel; his mother-in-law Connie Whitley; his uncles, Charles Hamden and William Boguth; and his cousin Kristin Whiteside.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Hamden (Bob) and Tina Hamden (Korneisel) of North Carolina; his son Robert William Hamden (Bobby) of North Carolina; his wife Casey; his brother Nick Hamden (Shelby) of Washington; his grandmother Jackie Korneisel of Michigan; and his father-in-law Paul Raper (Brenda) of North Carolina. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the West Lawn Cemetery (1909 West Main Street Extension, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Pasquotank Ruritan Club (2213 West Main Street Extension, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
