He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Francis Ley and Doris Lee Meiggs Ley; his wife Sue Ann Ley; and his brother Kenneth Ley. He is survived by: his sons, Jon Ley of Elizabeth City, Jeremy Ley of Alaska and Joshua Ley of California. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
