With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy A. Tufano of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, born in Wharton, New Jersey, who passed away on March 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Cook and Ann Malone Cook; her son Thomas Michael Tufano; and her brothers, Gerald Cook and Jack Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Harry S. Tufano, Jr.; her sons, John Tufano (Tracey) and Richard Tufano; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Brandon, Anthony and Melony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, reflecting Peggy's compassionate spirit and her commitment to helping others in need.
