He is survived by: his wife Charlene Ownby; his daughter Julie Shackett (Jimmy) of Norfolk, VA.; and his stepsons, Jonathan Miller of Virginia Beach, VA and Scott Miller (Wanda) of Elizabeth City, NC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
