Nicholas Steven Overman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Steven Overman (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Overman and Mary Overman; his parents-in-law, Mike and Susan Herring; and his brother-in-law Jon Herring.
He is survived by: his wife Michaelle Herring Overman; his children, Nicholas "Steven" Overman, Jr. (Camille), Beth Stephenson (Blake) and Logan Overman (Savannah); his brother Andy (Cindy); his nephews, Brandon and Cameron Overman; his sister-in-law Shelly Herring; his mother-in-law JoAnn Herring; and his close friends, David and Sharon Bailey.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Twiford Memorial Chapel (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Forest Park Church (300 Forest Park Rd, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
