It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mollie M. Beasley of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Majette and Carrie Majette; her siblings, Thornton and Lafayette "Lot" Majette; and her spouse Dr. T. V. Beasley.
She is survived by: her son Darryl K. Beasley, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Dr. Tamera Coyne-Beasley; her grandchildren, Darryl Keith Beasley, Jr. and Kayla Imani Yvette Beasley; her sister-in-law Juanita Majette; her cousins, Louise Littlejohn (Herbert) and Billy Langford (Marguerite); and her nieces and nephews, Ricky M. Majette, Arnette Skinner, Colin Tilman, Roderick Majette, Terrell Majette, Dwan Bell, Pamela Majette and Laquitta M. Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church (507 S M. L. K. Jr Dr, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery (1909 W Main St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Thaddeus V. and Mollie M. Beasley Scholarship Fund" to support an Elizabeth City State University Biology or Physical Education student athlete.
