He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Bettie Jean Jones Parker; his child Mayor of Elizabeth City; his wife Bettie; his children, Marcel and Endi (Matthew); his grandchildren, Chantelle, Dayonna and Sydney; and his siblings, Pecolia, Patricia, Barbara (Johnny), Charlotte, Cornell (Viola), Dwight and Glenn (Sandra). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
