He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Dempsey Lamb and Ellie Ferrell Lamb; and his siblings, Alice Ferrell, Ellodia Raby, Hattie Harris, Florence Boone, Mildred Papuchis, C. D., James, Thomas and Louis Roy Lamb.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Saunders Lamb; and his children, Theresa Howard (Milton) of Elizabeth City, Belinda Stallings (Johnny) of Hobbsville, Lisa Basnight (Edwin) of Hertford, Daphne Mizelle (Steve) of Windsor, Mack Lamb (Dorothy) of Elizabeth City and Louis Lamb (Crystal) of Elizabeth City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
