He is survived by: his parents, Chris Herman Ripatti and Lucinda Charlene Leonard Tee; his wife Kristina Ann DeBrun Ripatti; his daughter Madilyn Johnson (Scott, Jr.); and his siblings, Megan Ripatti-Moody (Marshall Almond), Jenny Ripatti-Taylor (Paul), Chris Ripatti (Colleen) and Russell Ripatti.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the William Clarence Jackson VFW Post 6060 (1433 N Road St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
