He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley B. Davis and Ella Davidson Davis; his wife Carolyn Cartwright; and his son Wayne Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Wiard (Robert) of Henderson, NC and Sharon Earle of Ohio; his grandchildren, Jason Wiard (Lana) and Virginia Reagle (Robbie); and his great grandchildren, Austin Wiard, Will Wiard, Caroline Wiard, Brady Reagle and James Reagle.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
