Mary Chappell Winslow Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Chappell Winslow in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Lucy Lamb Chappell; her husband J. L. Winslow; her siblings, Mildred Chappell, Myra Messner, Alice Byrum, Carlton, Louis, Walton and Milton Chappell; and her granddaughter Melissa Riddick.

She is survived by: her sons, William (Judy Winslow), Wade (Amy Winslow) and Bernie (Leora Winslow); her grandchildren, Amanda Yopp (Doug) of Raleigh, Kelly Thielman (Sean) of Greensboro, Victoria Winslow of Belvidere and Anthony Winslow of Belvidere; her grandson-in-law Justin Riddick of Tyner; and her great grandchildren, Everett, Winslow Yopp, Ethan, Lucas, Liam Thielman and Autumn Riddick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
